Fun take on the theme. Cool art style, nice rhythm and a good sense of humor. The projectile positions were kinda hard to read, I think getting rid of the vertical player movement could be a way of improving that. Nice game overall!
The art is super cool. Love the smirking sun in the corner. Seems like you had a clear aesthetic vision and you nailed it. I didn't figure out until the taxi part that you could fly LOL, I was just moving side to side. so far ended with a score of 1640, need to practice taxiing people and shooting at the same time :P Also love the voice lines for the taxi customers!
Really cool idea! I love the art style and the adaptation of the scrolling shooter genre. I wish it was a bit more clear what your current odd job was at any given moment, but the game is fun!
